What's happening?
VBS is a summer kids' event open to all! True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World will be held from August 4th to August 8th, 2025. At True North VBS, kids will go on an unforgettable Alaskan adventure where the northern lights shine over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and sparkling glaciers. As they trek the tundra, they’ll discover how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Guiding them towards Jesus, True North VBS reveals that He is a faithful friend we can always trust. He’s our True North!
Each day at VBS True North, kids will visit stations that reinforce relevant Bible Points and immerse kids in new adventures. Stations include:
Sing and Play Peak – kids will start the day with high-energy music.
Wild Bible Adventures – kids will trek through powerful Bible stories that demonstrate how Jesus is their unmovable, unshakable friend forever!
Imagination Station – the crafty spot for creativity and surprising faith connections!
Glacier Games – combine wild fun with meaningful learning about each day’s Bible Point!
Tundra Treats – all crews come together to refuel with a themed snack that connects with the day’s Bible Point.
The Great Missions Expedition - kids will learn and be given opportunities to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children, a cause that is close to the heart of Jesus
Compass Closing – wrap up the day together with an exciting teaching time and music that all tie to the daily theme and Bible Point.
What's a VBS like?

Important details!
When?
August 4th through 8th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm every day.
Who? (what ages)
True North VBS is for kids from Preschool to 5th Grade (based on grade entering in the fall). Preschoolers will have their own special experience in our preschool VBS group!

True North VBS is FREE! All you have to do is register and show up!

We need supplies!
We need craft supplies, Alaskan-themed decor, and building materials for props. We will provide a list of specific items shortly. You can also support VBS by directly giving here.
Help Us Decorate
We'll be decorating various days throughout the months leading up to VBS to transform the church into a northern adventure. Be sure to stay tuned to help make this spectacular adventure a huge success!
